Hampshire Fostering Network is a small, not for profit registered charity (registered number 11610000) operating within the County of Hampshire. Our mission is to support looked after children and their carers who foster directly for Hampshire Children’s services. We work closely with them as a link between Hampshire Children’s Services and foster carers, connected carers and those with children on Special Guardianship Orders, or SGO’s.
The charity provides this through the provision of training for foster carers, birth and looked after children, running fun events and activities aimed at improving attachment within families and offering new experiences for some of the County’s most vulnerable children. We run an annual Foster Care Conference in association with Winchester University which is the biggest foster care conference in Southern England, attended by foster carers, NHS staff and social care professionals. All services are provided free of charge to foster carers and we do not employ any staff, running solely on voluntary services and help.
