Introduction to AQA’s through HFN.
The AQA’s are a fully funded means for Young People to obtain meaningful certificates that evidence their abilities. They reward students for completing short units of work. They promote a positive learning experience and there is no time limit for completion. They can be used as a stepping stone to other awards or qualifications. The scheme is open and free to all HCC Fostering households, your birth children as well as CLA. Any age may complete any unit. There are hundreds of subjects available on the AQA website HERE This scheme is administered through HFN by Hampshire County Council Foster Carers, for Hampshire County Council Foster Carers. HFN have selected just 24 from the Unit Award Scheme and they are divided into 5 key areas.
